Justin is a writer at the Nieman Journalism Lab, which is part of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University. At the Nieman Lab, Justin writes about innovation and the future of media. A former newspaper reporter, columnist, and blogger, he started his career covering local government and later reported from the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Justin is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared online, in newspapers, magazines and TV. He has served as a fellow at the Knight Digital Media Center and researcher at Investigative Reporters and Editors. Originally from Minnesota, Justin is a graduate of the University of Missouri and currently lives in the Boston area.
