Bio:
Jessica Estepa is a storyteller and a self-described news junkie/social media butterfly based in Washington, D.C. She currently works as the lead writer and editor for OnPolitics, USA TODAY’s politics blog. Previous stints include working as: a senior producer at National Geographic, a digital editor at USA TODAY, and a reporter at E&E News and Roll Call.
A native Nevadan, Estepa attended the University of Nevada’s Reynolds School of Journalism and worked at a number of places in the Silver State, including the Reno Gazette-Journal, before departing for the East Coast. She leads the D.C. chapter of the Online News Association and can often be found singing, either with the Capitol Hill Chorale or in a karaoke bar.
