Bio:

Sheeka is the Senior Producer of Digital Media for WJZY. She manages web, mobile, and social strategies for fox46charlotte.com. Sheeka is passionate about content strategy and user experience. She enjoys using design thinking and usability testing within the newsroom.

In her role, Sheeka sets best practices for the staff members she directly and indirectly supervises as they publish and curate digital content. She works with news, marketing and sales managers to create synergies on air and online.

Before her current role, Sheeka spent six years covering government, crime and social issues as a reporter for WMAZ and WGHP. She’s a graduate of UGA’s Grady School of Journalism and Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
