Bio:

I work as an online producer for the Charlotte (N.C.) Observer. I’m mostly self-taught with technology, but I’ve also had a lot of amazing mentors and teachers over the years. I got my first job in journalism at my tribe’s paper but have been with the McClatchy newspaper chain for 22 years. We do a little bit of everything on the online desk in Charlotte: Hype 2, some video, special project and design work and also programming social media. I am excited to see that Flash is now promising to export in HTML 5, maybe my old friend will becoming back into the online arena.
